Board of Directors
Leadership Guiding the Mission
At Fruits of Change, our Board of Directors is made up of passionate individuals committed to creating meaningful change in communities. Their leadership, experience, and dedication help guide our programs, ensure transparency, and support the mission of helping those in need.
Together, they work to expand our impact in areas such as animal welfare, elderly support, inmate rehabilitation, and orphan care.

Benedict founded the foundation with a deep compassion for both people and nature. Growing up with a strong connection to animals especially cats, he developed a caring spirit that naturally extended to helping communities in need. Through the foundation, he hopes to inspire kindness and meaningful change.

Ramir Codilla Sr.
Director

Ramir joined the foundation because of his sincere desire to help others. He believes that even small actions can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Through the foundation, he hopes to contribute to creating positive change for people who need it most.
Merly has always wanted to help others but once wondered how one person could reach many people in need. Being part of the foundation allows her to turn that desire into action. She believes that when people work together with compassion, their impact can grow far beyond what one person can do alone.

Fruits of Change Foundation
Fruits of Change Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Calgary, Alberta, supporting vulnerable individuals and families in Canada and the Philippines. We believe that even the smallest act of kindness can grow into meaningful change, a meal shared, a skill learned, a hand extended in compassion.
We walk beside those who feel forgotten, helping them rebuild with dignity and hope.
Mission
We sow kindness today so tomorrow’s generations can thrive.
Through livelihood, education, and employment programs, we nurture independence, resilience, and dignity, ensuring those we help today can stand on their own tomorrow.
At our core is a deep reverence for the natural world. We guide people to reconnect with nature through environmental awareness and stewardship, cultivating a way of life rooted in harmony, responsibility, and gratitude.
We aim to leave behind not just aid, but a legacy: an ecosystem of self-reliant individuals who carry the fruits of change forward, long after we are gone.
Vision
We dream of a world where a single act of compassion can rewrite a life. A world where those who have been unseen the orphans, the inmates, the forgotten are met with love, dignity, and a chance to begin again. In this future, hope is shared freely, skills are passed from hand to hand, and every person grows into the fullness of who they were meant to be.
This is the legacy we strive to build: one of healing, resilience, and hearts lifted back into the light.

OUR STORY
Planting the First Seed
The idea for Fruits of Change wasn’t born in a boardroom, but from a simple truth: true growth starts with a single seed. We saw a gap where momentary aid ended and long-term self-reliance needed to begin. Our founders believed that to empower communities for generations, we needed to do more than offer charity; we needed to plant knowledge, dignity, and independence.

It all started with a small, combined effort: a local livelihood workshop paired with a hands-on environmental restoration project. This dual approach—nurturing people and the planet simultaneously—proved transformational. Since that first project, our belief has only deepened: by reconnecting individuals with their own potential and the rhythms of nature, we enable them to grow their own sustainable future.
